Sis sweated today! In the past, due to time and general malaise (read laziness!) I would only complete the 1 mile portion of this DVD. To accurately determine if this was one to keep I did the 30 minute portion.
This is a keeper.
Leslie Sansome has about ten walking DVDs and this one has a one and two mile workout. While nothing beats the fresh air and ruggedness of the outdoors, this is a nice one for inclement weather.
A belt that of course she sells is recommended but I used one pound hand weights and tightened my abs whenever she mentioned the belt.
The workout consists of walking in place, side steps, kicks and knee raises. While I don’t think I used the 650 muscles Leslie claims are in the body, I did get a good workout.
My kvetch: not enough cooldown. Queenie used to love Jane Fonda and Jane believed in stretching and relaxing the muscles. This tape had a one minute (if that) cool down.
I incorporated my own stretches and SURPRISE!!! My hamstring was popping out again today.
