Friday, the sun showed Febuary what it’s all about. After a grueling winter of degrees that turned anyone who stayed outside too long into a snowperson, the family got dressed and with a splash of spontenaeity, we took the train to New York.
At 135th and Fifth (I feel like a New Yawker, LOL) we split ways. The fam headed to the Empire State Building to visit the top (heights, along with birds, and I don’t get along) so that the kids could get badges, and I huffed it over to a little slice of yarn heaven.
Knitters, if you get a chance to visit NYC, head over to to 34 West 15th Street and treat yourself to an afternoon of sticks (hooks for the crocheters) and string. The Lion Brand Yarn Studio is just lovely!
