…But who’s counting?
The first on the needles is this lovely pattern to use the Patons Silk Bamboo yarn that Sleeping Beauty gave me. The Teen keeps flipping through Teen Vogue asking if I can make one of the fashions on the page. My biggest project so far has been the lacy shawl I made to cover a low cut dress I wore last Easter.
Not wanting to disappoint her, I searched for a stylish pattern to that knits rather quickly. After a perusal of Ravelry, I found this charming pattern. These aren’t my ideal fingerless gloves. I like the ones that look like a newspaper seller’s. You know, the gloves that have the tips of the fingers cuts out. These gloves are somewhat warm, stylish, and functional. The pair I’m making for the Teen will be stylish rather than warm with a matching keyhole scarf.
My goal (silly woman!) is to complete two projects a week. Since Fall TV is in full swing and I’ve discovered a wine called Kir, I think I can make this happen. Plus, community activism has me at an average of three meetings a week. Imagine all I’ll get done.
