Week Two was rough!
The weather was overcast so lounging in bed was extra tempting.
I managed to slug my way through each workout, motivating myself with the thought of how good it will feel to finish my races. I also had a mini celebration. At one point I was ready to quit and went to shut my apps off to realize I was at my last set of run/walk combo! That was a real biggie for me. It’s nothing for me to channel my inner Steven Slater and quit this b*tch, but I pulled through and finished.
The workout this week was about 28 minutes. To make myself do at least 30 minutes, I walked at a brisk pace for five minutes then began the apps training.
Week 2 instructs you to warm up for five minutes, then three times jog 90 seconds, walk 90 seconds, jog 90 seconds five times. I know I need new sneaks. My feet were killing me! I also plan to incorporate alternate days of stationary bike riding on my off days. Summer gave a preview and I am FAR from ready.
