The museum is MASSIVE. There are four stories of treasuries to eyeball, and history to soak up. The Boy was initially disappointed. He expected to see the layout from the movie. I was a little disappointed myself until I realized the movie was released in 2006!
The museum must be used to tourists like us because they have a self-guided tour for people who want to experience the movie.
On the fourth floor we found Rexy:
The third floor led us to The Easter Island Head who was fond of “gum-gum” from his “Dumb-Dumb”
We also got to meet Teddy Roosevelt, although he was not perched on his trusty steed, but chilling on a bench.
I enjoyed visiting the museum. The exhibits were well maintained, and there was something for everyone who has a desire to learn history. The place was also PACKED. Tourist from all over oohed and ahhed at the exhibits.
The movie can be purchased at Amazon:
