It’s here:
As I look back over old posts, I see that I have this love/hate relationship with cookie sales. I love the lessons that come from cookie sales, and the solo time with The Teen is invaluable. I usually have a knitting project that I work on, and occasionally finish. I hate lugging cases of cookies from my car to our booth and how all of my free time seems to be going back and forth to the cookie cupboard and breaking down cases.
I can’t think of anything new to add to my cookie rants, so I present past posts about my journey with cookie sales:
I Got the Yeyo: Selling cookies is like pushing crack. To see the way people jostle to grab the last box of Thin Mints or Carmel de Lites is a sight to behold.
Girl in The Hood: Adventures in cookie booths.
Sales are Over!: The first year we’re done selling and I’m happy as a runaway slave!
Cookie Mania!: We’re honored with an opportunity to do a kick-off with new GSEP CEO Natalye Paquin, Esq.
Goodbye, Again!: This is the year she went to Hollywood.
The Teen has decided that she wants to go to Paris this year. Of course, that was full so London is next on the list. That’s a lot of Thin Mints and Lemonades that will be tempting me to eat “just one more.”
These cookies aren’t going to sell themselves!
I got so many comments when I had it on in Center City, but it was for my daughter, so I did what I needed to do. This is my last year of hard cookie sales, so I am thankful for that! Thanks for stopping by!
That is such a cute costume! Good luck!
