It’s been a while since I participated in a Monday Listicle (yes it’s Saturday!). Two days ago +Janeane Davis and I headed to New York for the Disney Social Media Mom conference and as we prepared to ride home she told me how much she enjoyed reading my lists.
This week we are challenged to talk about the things we first notice in a person.
- Your smile. The more genuine and open, the more I gravitate to you.
Your style. Not if you are wearing designer duds, but if you look sloppy.
Where your eyes go. I know women check other women to see what we are wearing, but I’ve told many a man that my eyes are up here.
Your words. I’m no grammar police but don’t talk like The Teen until we get to know each other.
Your device. More like if your device is more important than the current conversation. I’m a serial iPhone addict, but I know enough to focus on the person in front of me when we are engaged.
Your TV habits. If you can riff on pop culture, we will be fast friends.
7.Your makeup. If you look like Baby Jane, I’m going to pause.
- Your laugh. I remember meeting the First Lady of our church and her laugh was infectious. That sealed the deal for me to join the church.
Accents. Working with people from other countries I always pay attention to countries of origins.
If you smoke. Smokers always look for someone to huddle in the cold with.
What do you notice about people?
