As much as I love the convenience of whipping out my mobile device to relive a moment, it’s nothing like having the hard copy to memorialize that special time. There are services available to print digital photos, but nothing quite as fun as using the HP DeskJet 3700 printer.
The Boy and I spent part of the evening testing our new gadget, choosing photos from Instagram, Facebook, and our camera rolls. Using the HP Social Media Snapshot App and sticky backed photo sheets, The Boy and I went through half the sheets printing out pictures of Pokemon we captured. My niece came by and immediately used the PicCollage App to print things she plans to use to decorate her room in her new home.

The HP DeskJet is not just useful for printing funny pictures, it’s also useful for scanning documents. Since school is a few weeks away, paperwork for billing, permission to participate in sports, copies of whatever the school is asking for can be scanned with the printer and either downloaded to email. I can also set it up so that an important document is waiting on the printer when I get home at the end of the day. This will definitely come in handy since the school year has a schedule that is crazy busy.
In addition to school, I also plan to use the printer to help with crafts for The Mister’s Cub Pack. The boys can make gifts for their Akelas or follow this crafts I did in LA to decorate the scout room with the Cub Scout motto.
