Accompanying The Boy to Washington D.C. I noticed the traffic was insane. With the last elections, I’m hoping this is not a precursor to the next two years of policy in Congress for until the 2016 elections.
All Washington DC shade aside, I enjoyed my time in DC. It was cold, my knee sang a protest song, and the broken collarbone from this summer flared up, but I enjoyed being in the Nation’s Capital. I expected to feel a different vibe, but it was quite chill. As much as I would love to move to New York to work with immigrants, I would not be opposed to living in DC to work with politicians.
