It’s been a while since I had time to actively participate in the Bloggy Moms Blog Dare. There were cookies to shill, petitions to get signed, my Cubs making me SMMFH, a new gig, and some other foolishness.
Spring Goals got me thinking, though. In my time off from blogging, I read through my old post. I reached some of the goals I wanted to achieve for the new year, dropped a few bad habits, and made some decisions about my future.
I still have trouble with Chaturanga Dandasana, and my mile leaves much to be desired. I did find a job and my relationship with God is healing. I’ve learned to have fun again, and I also decided that while not a bucket list, I have a year and a half to complete a Forty before Forty List.
- Starting with spring goals, I know one of the things I want to do is work on my vegetable garden again. That was a relaxing satisfying time of my life and I loved the taste of fresh peppers and squash with dinner.
- Run a race. There’s a local 5K coming up in Upper Darby in April. I’m running, and while I won’t be first, I also won’t be DFL.
- Embrace my new gig with an open mind and not try to be Captain Save a Wreck.
- Find a competent community group.
