I wanted to relay the information from this past Sunday’s service. This past Sunday, we read John 13: 1-17. The gist of the text was how at the Last Supper Jesus HUMBLED himself to was the feet of his disciples. He showed that yes, I am the Living God, but I can also get on my knees and was your feet.
The Good Reverend Doctor (The Mister’s name for him, I call him Pastor) then gave this illustration. When geese fly south, they form a V formation. As they fly, the goose have a 71% greater flight pattern because of the formation. Then, as fatugue sets in, they will use verbal cues such as honking to keep the flock moving. As a church, we have to be like these geese. We have to fly in a tight formation to increase our service to the community. We also need to be vocal about keeping the flock uplifted.
Have you honked today?
