Shopping for The Boy used to be anything with a car, ball, or a Mario Brother. He didn’t care HOW he looked as long as it somewhat fit and he could take off and go.
Then he went to sixth grade and while there is still some hygiene issues to address, he is starting to take more time with what goes on his body.
At the Mom Mixer this past weekend, Tommy Hilfiger introduced their line of clothing for boys. I got a shirt and thought I would re-gift it to another kid in need, but when he saw it in my bag, The Boy stripped off his scout uniform shirt and slipped into the shirt.
The material was soft to the touch and fit great. The color was vivid and appealing to both of us.
Tommy Hilfiger is well known for their adult clothing line. The line for boys is classic and the material seems like it will withstand even the more strenuous Mario Kart Wii games.
I look forward to seeing more from this line and seeing how happy The Boy looks when he wears his new threads!
No school dances! I’m not ready for that just yet. Sometimes I wonder where’s my baby? I was pleased he liked this shirt. It almost seems fun to shop for him again.
such fun to read about another mama dressing a stylish sixth grade boy! that red looks fantastic on him, too. he’s got good taste.
my 11-year-old went to his first school dance last week. time does fly, does it not? 🙂
