Did I really spend 1986 to 1990 watching Alf? Not to mention that knockoff cartoon on Saturday mornings.
Gordon Shumway lands on earth, possibly the last of his species, and assimilates to life on earth with Willie Tanner and family.
I came of age in the eighties. I remember wearing acid washed jeans with my cuffs tucked into socks (the Teen was appalled to see this!) and a high ponytail to the front of my head (yeah, I had a Jheri Curl, too. UGH).
In retrospect, ALF is VERY corny. I had two ALF puppets and ALF comic books. I still remember Queenie calling to our cat, “Hey Buttons, my man!” like Alf used to quote to Lucky, the Tanner’s cat. The cat he tried to eat. LOL.
Random Teen comments:
Alf looks like a dust bunny.
The mom looks like she should be selling stuff on late night TV.
This is TOO corny!
The Mister remarked that neighbor Raquel Ochmonek was the only one who MADE it. She’s also known as Jerry Seinfeld’s mom.
