I got the nicest wake up this morning:
the Mister gave me an unsolicited back rub. He told me that my back felt tight. I asked tight like toned or tight like stressed. He told me tight like a drum.
Yesterday I had one of those I don’t feel like it days. I still need to get the Christmas gifts for the kids, shop for the holiday meals, and pop into the rehab to make sure Queenie is okay and I don’t have to kick anybody’s Bloop, Bloop.
Anyway, to combat this back drum, I pulled out my Yoga Conditioning for Women. I now remember why I stopped doing this workout. Suzanne Deason is a lovely woman, but her straight to the standing poses with very little cuing changes and direction. Yes, there are modifications in the “bonus” section, but I was too frustrated to continue.
Out pops, this, then in goes Yoga Shakti with Shiva Rea. I love this whole DVD. From the production, to the cinematography, to the voice over cuing. I felt lifted, connected and relaxed all in 36 minutes. There are different ways to do this tape. Four pre programmed sessions or a five minute quickie to a 90 minute immersion.
Suzanne a Salvation Army two fer special, Shiva Rea a definite keeper and daily rotation workout.
